Meet the Operator

Hi, I’m Brooke — Fractional Strategic Ops Partner and your next hire!

I’m a Maverick by nature (my PI profile will confirm it) with an engineer’s mind — I move fast, get things done, and cut through complexity, but with the precision to back it up, so you can stay focused on what you do best. I’m a problem-solver and a genuine advocate — in the weeds so you don’t have to be. From building ops infrastructure to hiring ahead of the next growth curve, my goal is simple: give you the confidence to lead, knowing the foundation beneath you is solid.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about family, education, and women’s health — especially supporting women through their birth and the postpartum journey. That same care and advocacy is what I bring to every team I work with.

If you’re scaling and it’s starting to feel like a lot — let’s talk.

More about my experience

Project Portfolio

01

High-Impact Operational Initiatives

I drove the operational support behind two high-stakes initiatives — right-sizing crew structures to unlock $29M in savings and redesigning outage processes that lifted customer satisfaction by 20%. The work started with listening: surveys, field interviews, and internal pain points synthesized into a plan that actually stuck.

02

Resource Management

What started as managing a local division’s electric distribution work plan — managing the scheduling and admin infrastructure, including cost reports, and weekly stakeholder meetings that drove an average 89% completion rate, scaled into system-wide mentorship of peers across 13 divisions and four regions, over 70,000 sq miles of territory.

03

SME Financial System Redesign

I built a financial operation from scratch and evolved it as the company grew — restructuring the P&L and balance sheet to reflect true financial state, breaking out accounts as complexity increased, and establishing the AR/AP processes and reporting rhythms that kept leadership grounded. Then hired the right person and handed it off clean.

04

Operational Support for SME

A business tripled its headcount and more than doubled revenue in two years — without falling apart. I owned the full operational picture: procurement, coordination, employee and customer onboarding, scheduling, a Dynamics CRM and Field Service rollout, and the internal SOPs and training documents that gave every employee a clear playbook to execute from.

05

OKR & KPI Framework Design

Leadership had goals but no shared language for measuring them. I partnered with the team to build annual OKRs and KPIs from scratch — defining success, building the tracking infrastructure, and making performance data visible and actionable for the first time.

06

Non-Profit Leadership

I’ve helped build two nonprofits from the ground up — one as co-founder, both as board president. At one, we stood up the organization serving over 30 secular homeschooling families in Wake County — a community that had no dedicated infrastructure before. At the other, I partnered with the operational team to sharpen the nonprofit’s business direction — building toward a vision of serving over 1,000 kids in the region.

Benefits of having a

Strategic Ops Partner

Clarity in the Chaos

A strategic partner cuts through the noise — organizing priorities, filtering distractions, and making sure the right things get done at the right time.

A Trusted Thought Partner

More than an executor, a strategic operator thinks alongside you — challenging ideas, connecting dots, and helping you make sharper, more confident decisions.

More Time for What Only You Can Do

When a strategic ops partner owns the details, you get back the space to lead, strategize, and show up fully where it matters most.

Why fractional?

Not every business needs — or is ready for — a full-time Chief of Staff or COO. Fractional gives you senior-level strategic support exactly when and where you need it, without the overhead. You get the expertise, the impact, and the flexibility to scale up or down as your business evolves.

What am I saving by not hiring a full-time Strategic Ops Partner?

A full-time Chief of Staff or COO comes with a six-figure salary, benefits, onboarding time, and long-term commitment. With a fractional engagement, you get the same high-level support at a fraction of the cost — no benefits package, no ramp-up lag, and no obligation beyond the scope of work. Most clients find they get more value faster because we start delivering from day one.

What if I eventually want to hire full-time?

That’s a win. If your business grows to the point where a full-time CoS / COO makes sense, I’ll support that transition completely. In the meantime, our work together will give you a clear picture of exactly what you need in that role — and you’ll already have systems and processes in place when they walk in the door.

How do you ensure alignment and culture fit?

This is actually one of the reasons I chose fractional work — I thrive in it. I’m highly adaptable by nature, and I don’t just work for a company, I embed myself in it. I take time to understand how your team communicates, what you value, and how decisions get made. My goal is for your team to forget I’m not full-time.

We’re scaling fast — do your services adjust as we grow?

Absolutely. Scaling creates new challenges at every stage, and my support is designed to meet you where you are. As your needs shift, so does our engagement — whether that means more hours, a broader scope, or a different kind of focus. You won’t outgrow the support; it grows with you.

Are you doing too much?

Let’s fix that.
